Chrysocrambus craterellus

Description:

It is a moth of the family Crambidae. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The moth flies from June to July depending on the location. The larvae feed on Festuca and other Gramineae species.

Habitat:

It is found in southern Europe and the Middle East.

Chrysocrambus craterella is often mention to inhabit this areas while I haven't found anything on cassentiniellus ...must be then this one.

Sorry for the cruel orthographics..., my iPad is obviously a little bit tired. Should certainly be Chrysocrambus.

Crambidae, Crambinae, Chryocrambus sp., could be Chrysocrambus cassentiniellus or Chrysocrambus craterella.
