Description:

Family: Curculionidae. The Curculionidae family is the largest beetle family with more than 60.000 species in the whole world and about 1.200 species in Europe. The group is generically called snout beetles.

Habitat:

Seems to be pretty widespread in the Alps I found this one at about 1200 m above sea level.
