Burrowing Owl

Athene cunicularia

Habitat:

I found this specimen in an inactive volcanic region, on a transition between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.

Notes:

When I saw this Owl, it was with a Mice in beak. But, when I get closer, it ate the mice before I register.
