Phlox diffusa

Description:

Abundant white to light-pink, showy wildflowers with spreading growth all over the mountainside. They are low to the ground and have pinnate leaves that remind me of dill or rosemary.

Habitat:

Seen in a sunny area on the Gold Hill Trail in Breckenridge, CO at 9200' elevation.

Notes:

A good example of symmetry in nature.
