Description:

Less than .5 inch, bristly abdomen, some gray patterning on thorax. Final antenna segment is sort of oblong and globular.

Habitat:

Oak-dominated forest, near a small stream.

Notes:

As best I can tell, this is a type of Tachinid fly in the Peleteria genus. I was not able to get any more specific an ID.
