Wild cat hybrid/feral cat

Felis silvestris lybica/ Felis Cata

Description:

Although closer to Europe than to Africa the wildcat species of Sardinia resembles the african population more than the european, maybe because it was introduced here by ancient populations from the south. I think this to be a hybrid with a feral specimen, as the legs are shorter than usual and it is a bit too stocky. It is surely feral as the only house in the area belongs to my uncle, and it doesn't belong to him.

Habitat:

Mideterranean bushes and forest
