This popular butterfly is one of several possible species of the genus Heliconius. I think probably Heliconius melpomene amaryllis http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Helico... or possibly the postman Heliconius erato http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heliconius_...
