Hexagonia tenuis
have awesome polypores at the bottom
I found it was patched on the died branch
Ha! Sorry Ratih but you can see how fungi ID's are not always simple. If you follow the comments through time you will notice that at least 3 of us now think it is probably Hexagonia tenuis. It's your choice. :-)
Yeah not Polyporus alveolaris, pores are too small. Hexagonia tenuis looks good!
This looks nothing like P. alveolaris to me, the pores are not hexagonal and thos concentric rings are not typical of the species.
Hi Ratih.. gully.moy is right. You should take Stereum sp. out of scientific name.
