Eastern Kingsnake

Description:

Black, with light-yellow bands. Checkered belly plate scales. Roughly 2' in length.

Habitat:

This one was found at Camp Barstow, located on the Little Saluda River next to Lake Murray, SC. It's mostly Pine and Oak woodlands.

Notes:

Pretty typical kingsnake. Docile, didn't mind me handling him for a couple days.
