Earthworm

Lumbricina

Description:

An earthworm is a tube-shaped, segmented animal commonly found living in soil, feeding on live and dead organic matter. Its digestive system runs through the length of its body. It conducts respiration through its skin.

Habitat:

Prairie/Yard

Notes:

I found it wriggling trying to get underground. It was above ground because of the recent thunderstorm. The worm also had some dirt on him when I found him.
