Sharp-lobed Hepatica

Hepatica nobilis acuta

Description:

A plant with low leaves (with 3 sharp lobes) and a tall flower stalk. The flowers are white to lavender in color, and the flower head itself is curved so as to be perpendicular to the stem.

Habitat:

Deciduous forest.

Notes:

There were hardly any leaves up at this time, but I found many different flower stalks, some in clumps of 10-15.
