Description:

Unknown spider found under a tarp laying between a forested area & grassy yard. Between 1 and 2 inches in size. When I've seen this species before they've sometimes had their legs arranged to form an X shape (partially shown with the 2 front legs grouped together on the spiders right side).

Habitat:

Found under a tarp laying between a forested area & grassy yard, in riparian zone.

Looks like a nursery web spider. I found a type called a 'single stripe grass spider' that looks pretty similar. Cool close-up picture of the head.
