Small Heath

Coenonympha pamphilus

Description:

This tiny butterfly is the only moving lifeform I saw in a trip in the close regional park... I'm very uncertain if this is a small heath or a meadow brown... but the small dimentions make the first more plausible. It was very hot and arid, having rained last many weeks before.

Habitat:

bushes and grass fields of a regional park, the area is hot for most of the year but for some days of strong wind
