Orb Weaver

Araneus sp.

Description:

Tiny, bright green and yellow spider with a reddish-brown area on the abdomen. There are several small, green Orbweavers that are similar looking to this spider.

Habitat:

Sears Bellows County Park, New York. Wooded campground.

Notes:

It was very windy and this spider didn't hold still. I was able to get one, slightly out-of-focus shot before it tumbled away, never to be seen again! :(
