Was found along the beach near Arcata, CA.
I am certain it is a mammal but I cannot key it for the life of me. Is there anyone who can key this skull to species?

This is a real puzzle. Looks quite worn, but if so, the wear is really even. My best guess is a California sea lion, based on those ridges, especially the long central one, but I'm really grasping at straws here.
