Coluber constrictor priapus
Thin black snake approx. 2-3 feet long. It was coiled up somewhat in the morning and did not slither off w/ human presence near it. It was a little cool (by FL standards) at the time of the sighting. Perhaps it needed to get warmer
Observed in more of a grassy area along a narrow road within a pasture area of a County Preserve.
