Falco sparverius
This little lady lives in a man-made box against the ICU at the Birds of Prey Foundation (www.birds-of-prey.org), and with all the action around by people, she was hesitant to bring her prey to her chicks. She would fly close and then swoop away and land on the electric pole, scolding us all the way! If we quietly sat and watched, she would hop inside the box and deliver her meal!

Thanks, Mona!
Beautiful pictures
Ya...we actuallly toss her a mouse every once in a while to make up for all the distractions!! Thanks! ;-)
I had that similar problem with Chickadees in a box, but they eventually deliver the food. Nice spotting!
Thanks, Emily! I love getting the backs of them in flight...doesn't happen very often!! ;-)
Great shots with prey in her talons! The last picture is brilliant!
