To my knowledge there is only Lepidodes gallopavo, no in the genus Baecula, so Baecula gallopavo. Erebidae, Calpinae.

The only information I could find about L. cornifrons is unfortunately just a record in BOLDsystems that does not have an accompanying photograph. Does the checklist also provide information about distinguishing L. cornifrons?

Great, thank you Jakubo!
Piñas, F. 2005a, Mariposas del Ecuador, Vol. 22. Fam: Noctuidae does not list Lepidodes gallopavo, but the similiar L. cornifrons.

Stunning !! If that was sitting on a log it could pass for a crust fungi.
