Grey Mullet

Crenimugil labrosus

Description:

There was a whole load of these fish ranging between 8 to 14 inches long milling around on the bottom of the sea, picking at bits between the rocks. I have a video where you can see them better. They have horizontal grey lines on their flanks and show one dorsal fin far towards the tail on their backs.

Habitat:

Below the tidal regions near a pier below a tower. Rocky bottom, little weed or mud

Notes:

It's creepy how the thing on the right knows where I took it upon uploading
