crust fungus

Notes:

I have never seen a lichen (?) like this before. There was two lichen on a dry branch measuring more than 10 cm and they had beehive like pores on then. From a distance it looked like urea granules.

I think reptilian fungi was a joke, though it does look a lot like a lizard skin! Looks more like a crust fungus to me than a lichen but no idea what it is.

Very Cool!

Thank you Neil for the suggestion. But I could not go further with "Reptilian fungi" search. Please help me. There is nothing in the internet. on Reptilian fungi :(
