Millipede

Description:

I spotted this pretty little millipedes curled up on the floor. It has about 20- 8- segments with 2 pairs of legs on each. They are said to eat decaying leaves and other plant matter. They are sometimes poisonous and move slowly.

Notes:

Millipedes can be easily distinguished from the somewhat similar and closely related centipedes (Class Chilopoda), which move rapidly, and have a single pair of legs for each body segment
