Moth

Description:

Brown moth of about 2 cm in length, white heart shaped spots on the forewings and a distinctive snout. The head is dark brown. The legs are very hairy and reddish in color with large spines on the 2nd and 3rd pair tibiae.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
