Description:

Great size, shape and color camouflage it with herbs. The head is tapered.

Habitat:

Lives in the herbs in which nourish where it is difficult to see it because of cryptic mimetic forms and colors, with grass plants.

It is a species of conehead grasshopper - a beauty.

Really neat Grasshopper! It has shorter, thicker antennae so that rules out katydids and crickets. I think they call these Toothpick Grasshoppers. I am sorry but I don't have time to look up more at this time.
