Red headed krait

Bungarus flaviceps

Description:

Spotted in the early afternoon in virgin forest while foraging in and along a dry stream bed.

Notes:

Length was approx. 1.65-1.70 meters. I went back to the location of the sighting the next day and accurately measured, with string, where/how the snake was laying from one of the full-length pictures.
