This was wandering about in our neighborhood in the morning.
We believe this may be a Chukar partridge but aren't sure. We have never in our lives seen one, much less wandering a residential neighborhood.
This is a popular game bird and has either been released or escaped from many places and is becoming quite common throughout much of North America.
