Cortinarius caperatus

Description:

Yellow cap with a tan margin. The cap had a fibrous texture, and was about 7cm diameter. The stipe was rough and had a thick ring. Gills were close, attached to the stem, and pale cinnamon in color.

Habitat:

Growing on the ground in a deciduous forest.
