Horse Mushroom

Agaricus Arvensis

Description:

The white cap looks like the Field mushroom (Agaricus Campestris), but larger: the young one had a 10 cm diameter, but they can get to 20-30 cm. The gills are white at first, slowly turning pink, and then to brown. The stem is about 15 cm high, with a ring that at first is attached to the cap.

Habitat:

It grows on rich soil, I found this ones on a meadow where sheep graze, near some stinging nettles.
