Description:

This true bug is in the family Aradidae. At this time that's the best ID I have come up with.

Habitat:

Woodland and marshland mix

Notes:

This insect was found on Snake Road in the Shawnee National Forest.

Was it an Oak woodland are? If so, possibly Aradus robustus but it's just a guess since it seems to be the most common one collected http://bugguide.net/node/view/251678

Thanks! :-) It is, Cindy, but family level is as far as I have gotten with the identification so far.

Nice one! Looks like a Flat Bug. Using mobile so can't confirm.
