Short-tailed Shearwater

Ardenna tenuirostris

Description:

It landed in a fishing vessel and hung out for a while before flying away. It looked awkward out of the water, as if it didn't know how to use its feet. After a little time on deck it flew away. I think it looks more like a short-tailed than a sooty shearwater because of the head shape

Habitat:

Near the coast of Afognak Island.
