Common Myna

Acridotheres tristis

Habitat:

Absolutely Urban setting

Notes:

From the shape of the item in the Mommy bird's mouth I thought it could be Jamun fruit or Syzygium cumini...there were many such trees nearby. But it is a summer fruit and the spotting was later...I found a myna chick right under this building and hand-reared it till adulthood..it loved the Jamun fruit.
