Red-winged Blackbird

Agelaius phoeniceus

Notes:

This male blackbird was displaying in the wetland behind the house and when a female flew by, he took off after her and she was too quick for him this time:-)

Thanks Leana. Usually the red on the wings hardly shows except when the male displays to attract a female like this.

So cute!
