The proper name for this species is actually Canada Goose (or geese in your spotting, since there is more than one). They do live all over North America, including Canada. The migratory birds breed mostly in the northern section North America and spend their summers in the very northern part of the mainland U.S., including Alaska and over most (if not all) of Cananda. Does anyone know why they are called Canadian geese and not American geese?we see them so much in America but I've never seen any in canada!
