Calocera cornea
A colony of pale brown jelly fingers about 10 mm tall with rounded tips and slightly narrow bases. They were firm to touch.
Spotted in a wet eucalyptus forest on a very damp and decaying log. The wood was shredding from decay.
The finger-like projections of this jelly fungus are the basidiocarps. The basidiospores, of which only two are ejected, are produced on the outer surface.
Order: Dacrymycetales
Family: Dacrymycetaceae
