Description:

It is a species of ginger. It is originary from Indonesia but it grows very well in tropical gardens and is often found in Costa Rica. It has been studied for its contents in antioxidants, antibacterials and other molecules of medicinal interest.

Habitat:

Garden in Tuetal de Alajuela.
