Notocrypta paralysos volux

Description:

Hesperiidae; Hesperiinae; Notocrypta paralysos volux Mabille 1883. Butterflies of the Family Hesperiidae are commonly known as "Skippers". Years ago, before I became interested in biodiversity, I didn't know the name "Skippers" and I used to think that they were moths.

Habitat:

This Common Banded Demon was spotted in our vegetable plot on Sponge Gourd (Luffa acutangula) locally known as Patola. Plant identification - http://www.stuartxchange.org/Patola.html...
