Pachyrrhynchus cf. moniliferus
Black weevil with green markings.
We went for a swim at Itogon Hotspring Resort when I noticed a weevil. (photo 5). I thought it was alone but when i reviewed the shot, I noticed 2 others behind the leaves. I went back to confirm it and it's just so amazing to find them crawling under the leaves and on the branches. I counted 8 of them but there could be more!
Thanks bayucca for the ID. Indeed they have similar markings but maybe these are still young that the color is a bit different.
Curculionidae, Brachyderinae, Pachyrrhynchini, Pachyrrhynchus sp. and looks very similar to Pachyrrhynchus moniliferus.
