Biarum pyrami

Description:

An autumnal aroid, blooming without its leaves. The leaves will appear a bit later after the rains. Like all dark aroids, it is a deceiving plant with the stinking bloom that attracts flies.

Habitat:

rocky sunny Mediterranean grassland
