This yellow flower will produce a berry. Most of the leaves pictured are those of the fern that it was entangled in, but some of the flower's compound, toothed leaves are seen in the bottom of the first photo as well as in the center of photo 2.
Seen in the partial shade of the forest's edge in North Cascades National Park.
