High domed tortoise, named for yellow lines radiating from central points on carapace. Critically endangered due to poaching for food and pet trade. Diet primarily opuntia cactus.
South and southwest Madagascar. Prefers dry regions of brush and thorn forests where cactus species are more abundant.
