Description:

Small egg approximately 3cm high x 1.5-2cm wide (1.18in. x 0.59-0.78in.). In the image you can see old brown Maple tree seeds (half the seed) (http://eol.org/data_objects/1376496), so it can give a better approximation of the egg size.

Habitat:

Leaves aren't on the Maple trees where the egg was found, but a small nest was seen.
