I didn't even notice the caterpillar while taking this photo. It was only when I got home that i realized I accidentally took some pictures of it on the greenbrier.
Greenbrier in a sandy forest with pine and oak. This habitat is fire-suppressed longleaf pine sandhill savanna but it is not actually control burned.

Yes he is quite squishy looking!
