Coyote

Canis latrans

Description:

We found this coyote next to a way, he seemed very comfortable with our presence or his attention was focused on something else we couldn't detected. After a while the coyote crossed a wood fence and dissapeared in the bushes. A few hours before, we saw a couple of coyotes very close from a small village, it is possible that this coyotes were too close to humans settlements trying to find some food or water due to the little precipitation in those days. All pictures were taken in the sunset from a 4X4 vehicle.

Habitat:

Semiarid area with bushes, mainly Larrea tridentata and some grasslands.
