Nephila pilipes and N. maculata are complete synonyms. There are plenty of N. pilipes here and they have a variety of yellow and black patterns

Thanks for four input. I was always stumbling over these two species, but they are actually synonxms ;-)!!
The yellow spots were also my sceptic point, but Pilipes is very variable.

It's a hard ID.... but I'm actually leaning toward Nephila maculata . Both N. pilipes and N. maculata are found in the Philippines, but it seems that N. pilipes has more yellow in the leg joints. I could be wrong.
