Frontinellina frutetorum
Small arachnid hunting a little fly. Female. 5-6 mm. long spider of the Linyphiidae family, the money spiders. The prosoma is dark red with two thin dark lines on the sides. The opistosoma is vertically truncated at the rear end and presents a longitudinal dark band in the center plus two lateral ones that consist of four transversal lines. They make a very distinctive hammock web in bushes. The web consists of a second layer, below the first one, which is woven more loosely. The spider sits between these two webs.
