Pale Beauty Moth

Description:

Family: Geometridae, Subfamily: Ennominae (Typical Geometers) Wingspan: up to 51 mm. This one was quite large and most likely female. A common moth with white wings infused with pale green. White-edged green AM and PM lines curve inward at costa. Hosts: Deciduous trees including willow, ash, birch and alder.

Habitat:

Woodlands. Will come to light.
