I suppose it is possible. I have those at home - and no beetles!

Do you think they may feed on native members of the cucumber family, namely manroot (Marah sp.)? I will have to remember to pay attention to that next time I see some manroots.

I just wanted to make sure I was right about it being a cucumber beetle. Since there appeared to be no melons/cucs for miles in this wildlife sanctuary. I have since seen them on dandelion flowers - anywhere there is sunshine
