Common House Gecko (adult)

Hemidactylus sp.

Description:

This one has mottled skin pattern but most house lizards have uniform colouration. The tip of the tail seems to have been bit off and the wound has healed. Had it been discarded it would have dropped off further up nearer the point where it touches the body.

Habitat:

This one lives inside a letterbox, today it was resting on the boundary wall of the house.
