Great Horned Owl (fledglings)

Description:

A family of Great Horned Owls (didn't spot the male) Large Owls, brown mottled pattern on the backside and light rusty color barring on the chest and belly. Partial disc pattern with large V shape over eyes. Ear Tufts over the eyes. They perch in trees to scan for prey and sometimes on the fly. These are two fledgling offsprings from the (3rd image) female that stay close by.

Habitat:

Perch in forested trees not far from a marsh.
