Spiny Coriander

Eryngium foetidum

Description:

Leaves serrated and spiny. Prone to bolting. Leaves smell identical to Cilantro and can be substituted for it.

Habitat:

This one was a potted plant.

Notes:

Also known as Fitweed, Serrated Coriander, Naga-dhania, Shado- beni and Bhan-dhania. Dhania is Hindi for Coriander. May have medicinal qualities.
