Helianthemum apenninum
This is a low growing to crawling shrub, sporting dull bluish-grey narrow lanceolate leaves, and delicate paper-like five-petaled flowers (approx. 3cm in diameter).
Found crawling on rocks, just next to a pathway through rocky escarpment in Jura mountain range. This spot bears little vegetation, but it is surrounded by a magnificent mixed forest, common on Jura slopes.
